Job Title: Logistics & Warehouse Specialist
Location: Based in Pointe-Claire, Quebec
Position Overview
Santai Science is seeking for a Logistics & Warehouse Specialist to play a key role in managing our day-to-day logistics, inventory, and warehouse operations at our Pointe-Claire facility. Reporting to the Director - Engineer Technical Support and Site Coordinator, the Logistics & Warehouse Specialist is responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing logistics and warehouse activities to ensure efficient inbound and outbound flows, accurate inventory control, and timely order fulfillment.
This role is hands-on and operational, while also involving coordination with carriers, third-party logistics providers, and internal teams. It is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys structure, problem-solving, and working in a growing technical environment.
Key Responsibilities
Logistics & Transportation
- Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments with carriers and freight forwarders.
- Prepare shipping documents (packing lists, commercial invoices, waybills, etc.).
- Monitor deliveries, receipts, and transportation schedules.
- Liaise with third-party logistics service providers.
Warehouse & Inventory Management
- Receive, inspect, and record incoming goods.
- Organize warehouse space to ensure efficient storage and retrieval.
- Maintain accurate inventory records, locations, and data in the ERP.
- Perform regular cycle counts and investigate discrepancies.
- Plan replenishment and support supply and demand planning activities.
- Ensure proper packaging, labeling, and preparation of finished products for shipment.
- Maintain a well-organized, clean, and safe warehouse environment at all times.
Order Fulfillment
- Pick, pack, and ship customer orders accurately and on time.
- Coordinate priorities to meet customer and internal deadlines.
- Ensure compliance with internal procedures and quality standards.
Operations Support
- Collaborate with colleagues across departments when additional operational support is required.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of logistics and warehouse processes.
- Occasionally assist the instrument assembly line as needed.
What we are Looking For:
Qualifications & Skills
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required, along with a minimum of three (3) years of experience in a warehouse environment, including order picking, shipping and receiving, inventory counts, and pick-and-pack operations.
- Comfortable working with inventory management and ERP systems.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Ability to manage time effectively, self-motivated, and well-organized.
- Ability to handle physical tasks related to warehouse operations.
- Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team.
- Committed to delivering exceptional customer service.
- Fluent in English, both spoken and written.
